Our Coda series of flat-handlebar road bikes has won us legions of fans over the years, and for good reason—they’re quick, they’re nimble, and they’re soooo easy to ride. They’re basically road racing bikes without the racing emphasis—flat handlebars and intuitively easy-to-use controls mean near-zero intimidation, but you still get the benefit of elevated performance and incredible efficiency. The Codas are designed to perform, with a frame welded from fabled Reynolds 520 double-butted chromoly steel. You get steel’s legendary supple, pavement-smoothing ride, accompanied by the zing of fantastic pedal response. This year’s Codas are even more zippy and responsive, thanks to some gram-shedding parts picks by our weight-weenie product managers, but they’re still some of the most versatile two-wheelers we build.
